Dog grooming classes are limited to a maximum of 6 people so that you know you will always have the best attention and you will learn everything that you need to know.

You can do the courses in blocks or on days to suit you.

Our qualified City & Guilds Assessor takes the lead in the South Warwickshire Dog Grooming Courses. She will give you the confidence to groom dogs on your own and is always available to give on-going support as you embark into your career in dog grooming.

 

Platinum Dog Grooming Certificate 15 Days £2,600 (Inclusive of £433.33 VAT)

If you want to be really confident but don't like coursework or exams, then this is the course for you. You will have 15 days of hands on dog grooming training on real doggie models. You will learn how to groom a dog and how to achieve their breed specific styles and how to adapt the styles to the owners preference. You will learn the whole process from trimming pads, claw clipping, ear plucking, bathing, drying, clipping and scissoring. You will learn about all the tools of the trade designed to make grooming easier. The Platinum Certificate will give you more practical experience and will really help to boost your speed, because of the extra days training. If you then decide to go on to do the City & Guilds, the days that you have already done and the money you have paid can be credited towards the cost of these.

Gold Dog Grooming Certificate 10 Days £1,800 (Inclusive of £300 VAT)

This is a popular course suited to people who have had work experience handling dogs. Some learners feel confident to open their own business after taking this course. By the end of the course you will have learned how to groom a dog that comes to you and how to achieve breed specific styles. You will learn the whole process from trimming pads, claw clipping, ear plucking, bathing, drying, clipping and scissoring. You will learn about all the tools of the trade designed to make grooming easier. On day 1 you will learn how to do a fairly basic trim, like a Spaniel in a field trim and build up to doing dogs such as West Highland Terriers, Schnauzers and Poodles. Your speed may not be the fastest after completing this certificate, but will come with the more experience you gain.  If you then decide to go on to do the City & Guilds, the days that you have already done and the money you have paid can be credited towards the cost of these.

1 Day Taster Course £165 (Inclusive of £27.50 VAT)

Suitable for those who want to learn how to groom their own dog.
