The terms and conditions that you have agreed to are:-

Fee: The fee for these courses are non-refundable. 20% of the fee is payable by the student to the school at least 6 weeks before the earliest of the course dates. All fees must be paid in full at least 28 calendar days before the earliest of the course dates agreed between the student and the school (if a booking is made less than 28 days before the earliest of the course dates, the full fee must be paid immediately)

Training Service: For the fee paid, the Principal agrees to provide the following training services:-  The selected Dog Grooming Course provided theoretically and practically over the recommended course duration; assessment and examination fee (first attempt only). Tools and equipment will be made available temporarily to the student as part of the fee.

Course Dates: The student agrees to attend South Warwickshire Dog Grooming School on the agreed dates.

Attendance Hours: The student agrees to attend on each of the agreed dates from 10am until 4-5pm. The Principal will ensure that adequate provision for breaks from training (e.g. lunch) is made throughout the day. The student understands that due to the nature of the training start, break and end times may need to be flexible.

Tools: Unless otherwise specified above, groomers with more than 2 years’ experience are required to use their own tools/ equipment.

Drugs: Except for prescription drugs/ medication as well as drugs/ medication generally available from legally regulated retail outlets, the consumption of all other medication is not permitted at the School.

Safety: The student will consider the safety and well-being of all animals and people at the school.

Grievance and Complaints: Any student grievance must be discussed with the Principal as early as it is safe to do so and, where not resolved to the student’s satisfaction, raised formally in writing to the Principal.

Cancelled course dates: In the event of significant impact to the agreed course dates (e.g. sickness or extreme weather denies access for the Principal – or any supplies required to support the course to the school), the Principal will offer reasonable re-arrangements of any time missed.

Student Absence: Agreed course dates not attended by the student, whether in whole or in part will neither be refunded nor rescheduled. Where the student can provide evidence of an exceptional case (e.g. a letter from the student accompanied by a formal Doctor’s note), the Principal will consider (at their sole discretion) whether a form of compensation is appropriate.

Unacceptable Behaviour: Provision of the training service as specified is at the discretion of the Principal. Students who are disruptive or dangerous or otherwise can no longer be accommodated at the school will be removed from the course. Any remaining course dates will be associated with a pro-rata’s 50% refund to the student.
